ACA International
Founded in 1939, ACA International brings together third–party collection professionals to
advance the credit and collection industry. ACA's membership includes collection professionals,
asset buyers, attorneys, creditors and vendors in more than 55 countries. ACA members
return billions of dollars to the economy each year, ensuring that the use of credit remains
available to consumers.
DBA International
DBA International was founded in 1997 as a non-profit trade association dedicated to building
the foundation for standards within the debt buying industry. Commitments include representation
to Federal and State agencies and support where appropriate in Appellate cases of significance.
Members are required to accept and abide by a strict Code of Ethics.
National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA)
Founded in 1993, NARCA is a nationwide trade association of over 700 skilled debt collection law
firms, in-house counsel of creditors, and industry vendors. All NARCA members meet association
standards to assure experience, professional liability, and professionalism.
National Healthcare Collectors Association (NHCA)
The National Healthcare Collectors Association is an association of healthcare owned collection
agencies and hospital business office collection personnel. In its 38 years of existence, NHCA has
become the premiere professional association of healthcare owned credit/collection operations by
meeting members’ professional, educational, networking and leadership expectations.
California Association of Collectors (CAC)
Since 1917, the California Association of Collectors has served and protected the interests of the collection
industry. CAC is pledged to promote, stimulate, increase and improve the educational, social, economic,
and ethical welfare of the California collection industry and the public which it serves; and to apply the
collective knowledge and experience of its members toward maintaining an ethical standard of collection service.
National Association of Credit Management (NACM)
NACM was founded in 1896 to promote good laws for sound credit, protect businesses against fraudulent
debtors, improve the interchange of credit information, develop better credit practices and methods, and
establish a code of ethics. NACM members are credit and financial executives, primarily representing manufacturers,
wholesalers, financial institutions, and varied service organizations.
